YouTube Music has been working to improve the music experience for our users. The music streaming app reportedly exposes live lyrics to all Android and iOS users. This is similar to live lyrics available on Spotify when users play songs. The feature on YouTube Music, which he reportedly first discovered in April, is now rolling out to users broadly. However, live lyrics are not yet available for all songs.
A report from 9to5Google has revealed that YouTube Music is rolling out a Live Lyrics feature to users of its Android and iOS apps. The Live Lyrics feature highlights the lyrics that are playing in white and the remaining lyrics in light gray. Gadgets360 was able to independently validate this feature with the YouTube Music app.
To access Live Lyrics on YouTube Music, play a song with lyrics attached and go to the (Lyrics) tab on the (Now Playing) screen. The report also added that Live Lyrics is rolling out YouTube Music version 6.15 on the Android app and version 6.16 on the iOS app. If the user can’t access Live Lyrics, try force quitting the app by swiping it from the (Recents) screen.
On the other hand, it is also mentioned that the live lyrics feature is not yet enabled for all songs. Therefore, users may have to wait a little longer to access live lyrics for their favorite songs if they are not yet available.
The feature was first discovered in April of this year, and previous reports said it would significantly increase text size and spacing in live lyrics compared to the current static lyrics available on YouTube Music. .
please remember. The Live Lyrics feature was rolled out to Spotify in select countries, including India, in June 2020. It was then expanded to more markets by November 2021.
