YouTube Music has reportedly brought real-time lyrics to Android and iOS to improve user experience. This feature offers interactive and dynamically updated lyrics with an improved design and consistency with the music. It’s not available for all songs yet, though, but an update promises more extensive coverage in the future. The user may need to restart the app to access this functionality.
According to 9to5Mac, the feature is now available in the YouTube Music app for both Android and iOS operating systems. To take advantage of this interactive music feature, you’ll need to update the YouTube Music app to version 6.15 for Android devices and version 6.16 for iOS.
For those of you who use YouTube Music regularly, the (Lyrics) tab in the (Now Playing) section should be a familiar feature. It performed its function but did not provide the desired level of interaction. The advent of live lyrics brought some amazing changes to the (lyrics) tab. Introducing an updated layout with more readable text and better spacing. But the real attraction is its adaptability to the music played.
As the song begins, the current lyric line is prominently displayed in white, while the line before it gracefully fades into the background, ensuring a great visual encounter.
And the YouTube Music page seamlessly updates as the song advances to the next lyric line, perfectly syncing with the rhythm of the music. Elegant details are introduced along with a blurred background of cover art, complemented by musical notes that signal the emergence of lyrics.
This advancement has the potential to improve the music listening experience, but it’s important to note that not all songs have this real-time lyrics feature at this time, says HT Tech. reporting. Legacy static lyrics are still available for tracks that have not yet migrated. Nonetheless, there is some optimism that live lyrics will become the norm for a wider range of songs in the future as YouTube Music continues to progress.
Please note that this feature may not be immediately available to all users. It may take a few steps to make sure you are one of the lucky ones to experience it. This update is currently accessible on both Android and iOS platforms, but you may need to display friendly prompts in the YouTube Music app. Just go to “App Info”, select “Force Stop” the application, and restart it. Please note that not all songs have access to live lyrics. So feel free to explore multiple tracks to discover the enhancements to this compelling piece of music.
