Users can enjoy Dolby Atmos songs on the latest version of the Wynk Music app on supported Android and iOS devices.
Wynk Music will receive Dolby Atmos support, the music streaming platform announced on Wednesday. Wynk Music, owned by Airtel, has teamed up with Dolby to introduce the Dolby Atmos music catalog.
Wynk has said that the music catalog of Yash Raj Films (YRF), Saregama, Phonographic Digital Limited (PDL) will be available in Dolby Atmos format in eight languages.
“Our partnership with Dolby combines Wynk’s strengths of an extensive library and superior music delivery with a never-before-seen audio experience in Dolby Atmos and is sure to vastly improve the user experience,” said Edwin Charles Albert, Head – Content and Partnerships, Airtel Digital.

Launched in 2014, Wynk Music is currently the number one music streaming app in India in terms of downloads and daily active users. Within a year of its launch, the company had more than 12 million installs. Wynk Music subscribers can now enjoy select music in Dolby Atmos format for free.
Airtel users can get a free Wynk Music subscription by charging specific subscriptions. Likewise, the rest of the users can opt for the subscription of Wynk premium annually for Rs 399/- or Wynk premium monthly for Rs 49/-.
Apple Music already offers its music catalog in Dolby Atmos.
