- The TeachHub mobile app allows you to view the schedule for the entire school year. You can also view schedules by day or period.
- For more information such as “Grades, Assignments, Attendance,” etc., please refer to the menu at the bottom of the screen.
- To access your notifications and adjust settings, see the bell and gear icon in the top right corner of the interface.
grade
The Grades screen gets its information from the NYC DOE’s Grades application. Not all schools use this application. (Grades) If the screen is blank, your child’s school may not be using her DOE grades, but a different system. If you have questions about which applications your school uses for grading, please contact the school directly.
If your school uses DOE grades, you can see your grades at the course level on this screen.
- The “Overall Grade” feature within this section displays the average of all assignments for the current semester. Please note that this average may differ from the grade for the grading period.
- Each specific assignment may also include “teacher’s notes”. These notes contain general comments that your teacher may have added about your performance on that particular assignment. You can also view this information for the current year and marking period.
Click the “i” icon for more information about the grades feature.
Note: The grading guidelines displayed on the “i” icon are from the NYCPS Official Academic Policy Guide. These may differ from school-specific policies. If you have any questions, please contact the school.
assignment
Similar to the Grades screen, Assignments will only display information if your child’s school uses DOE grades.
If your school uses DOE grades, the (Assignments) screen provides a list of assignments and grades for those assignments. To view your assignments and grades, follow these steps:
- Please select the course and assignment you would like to view.
- You can view assignment details such as:
- List of past and future assignments and deadlines
- Graded and ungraded assignments.
- Click the “i” icon to view course details, including course code and teacher’s name.
attendance
The (Attendance) section displays the following information:
- Official daily attendance record.
- Daily attendance details. Also:
- Total number of days absent
- Total number of tardies
Some schools (mainly middle schools and high schools) take attendance during each class period. At this time, you can only view daily attendance numbers in the TeachHub mobile app. If you would like to know about period-level attendance, please contact your school for more information.
