As it stands, Siri is pretty limited. Certainly, iOS 17 eliminates the need to say “hi” to activate. But with AI booming thanks to ChatGPT, Apple needs to get started.

That’s exactly what we hear. Wayne Ma at Information It reports that iOS 18 brings a major update to voice assistants, allowing them to perform complex multi-step tasks like automation apps on the iPhone.
