NJPW gives NJPW World a major update including iOS, Android and Roku apps. The company announced the “major refresh” of the streaming platform on Sunday, which also includes some pricing changes, and more details will be announced.
A new NJPW world is coming this fall!
New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s NJPW World online streaming service is set to undergo a major overhaul this fall with a wave of new features and improvements.
Fans can enjoy content on dedicated iOS, Android and Roku TV apps, watch content in Full HD, download video content for offline viewing, and benefit from enhanced search functionality and a range of UI/UX improvements. New and old NJPW fans will be able to enjoy the action in New Japan more than ever. We’re excited to bring you more details about the new NJPW World soon.

*Current NJPW World subscribers who continue their subscription after service renewal will be charged ¥1,298 JPY from their next billing period after renewal regardless of territory.

NJPW World’s current Amazon Fire TV app will not be supported after NJPW World’s renewal. After the renewal, users can download a new Fire TV app.

A: Yes. As video data is migrated to the new system, some content may not be available on day one, but archive content will be transferred to the new service.
Q: Can I watch PPVs I purchased through the new service?
A: Yes. Purchases with unlimited repeats will still be automatically visible on the new service.
Question: I do not want to remain subscribed under the new price. What should I do?
A: The new price point will take effect on the next payment date after renewal. Those who wish to unsubscribe or delete their accounts must do so before that date. The first payment date under the new plan will be announced at a later date.
Q: I am an ongoing subscriber. Can I pay for my subscription in US dollars after renewal?
A: Subscribers continuing the previous version of NJPW World will still be charged in yen, under the new price of ¥1,298 JPY when converted to your local currency. The international price of $9.99 USD applies to new accounts only. We appreciate your understanding.
