iOS 17.2 Beta 2 includes the ability to record spatial video on iPhone 15 Pro

The second beta of iOS 17.2 adds a new feature that lets you record spatial video on your iPhone 15 Pro or iPhone 15 Pro Max and view it in the Photos app on Apple’s upcoming Apple Vision Pro headset.
To enable spatial video recording, go to the Settings app, tap the camera section, select your format, and turn on Spatial Video for Apple Vision Pro.
Apple says that for best results when recording spatial video, you should keep your iPhone steady in landscape orientation while capturing the video. Video is recorded at 1080p at 30 frames per second, and one minute of video takes up 130MB of storage space.
Spatial videos shot with the iPhone 15 Pro can also be viewed on the iPhone, but the videos will look like regular videos rather than spatial videos. Spatial videos are labeled “spatial” to indicate that they can be viewed in 3D in Vision Pro.
Spatial video is not displayed full screen by default on Vision Pro headsets. When you zoom in on a video, Apple warns that the video has “extra motion” and that “zooming in may cause discomfort.”
