New features in Final Cut Pro for Mac
The latest update to Final Cut Pro for Mac gives creators new tools to simplify complex edits and speed up export speeds.
powerful organization tools
To help creators maintain flow when editing complex timelines, Final Cut Pro introduces automatic timeline scrolling so that clips appear below the playhead during playback. This makes it easier for users to stay focused. An editor can use the Zoom tool or keyboard shortcuts to dynamically adjust her view of the timeline during playback.
This update allows editors to see the timeline structure at a glance, easily distinguish clips by their assigned roles, and improves the color display experience for video and audio roles. Clear colors also allow users to use the timeline index to identify and highlight clips by role.
Editors can now work more efficiently than ever before by quickly cleaning up complex sections of the timeline, combining selected groups of duplicate and connected clips into a single, connected storyline. Now you can fine-tune your edits by joining. To further streamline organization, editors can also combine connected clips with existing connected storylines.
Further optimization for Apple Silicon
Video professionals often work on multiple projects at once, and this update makes exporting these projects faster than ever. Users can speed up H.264 and HEVC exports by automatically sending video segments to available media engines for concurrent processing.
Object tracking offers a wide range of possibilities to create amazing effects using completely new machine learning models. Get better results when you use Object Tracker on Mac computers with Apple Silicon to analyze the movement of faces and other objects. Final Cut Pro chooses the best analysis when the analysis method is set to automatic.

Users can tap (Record) while playing the timeline, or find the exact point to start the narration and use the countdown to start.
Workflow benefits
