Carrot Weather — the forecasting app known for its hilarious and sarcastic weather forecasts — is introducing several new features, including a new weather widget and voice impersonation feature, with the iOS 17 and watchOS 10 software updates available today. Masu.

The Carrot app for Apple Watch has been redesigned for watchOS 10, and the main interface now uses a vertical tab view to quickly switch between hour and day forecasts. Tap each section of the redesigned app to expand additional details or view an animated weather map. Carrot users can customize the data they want to see through the Carrot iPhone app.

You can now add the Carrot Weather widget to your iPad lock screen, iPhone standby mode display, and Apple Watch smart stack. The new Next Hour Radar feature can also predict storm movement in the United States, Canada, Europe, Australia, South Korea, and Japan 60 minutes into the future.

Finally, for the first time, the Carrot app is now available in 14 additional languages, including Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Spanish, and Swedish . While this is a welcome update for those for whom English isn’t your first language, please note that Carrot’s signature sarcastic and hostile comments are still only available in the English version of the app.

Carrot is free to download from the App Store, but those who want full functionality can subscribe to a premium account for $4.99 per month.
