Apple Music Classical is now available on iPad

Apple Music Classical, included as part of a standard Apple Music subscription, launched in the spring as an iPhone-only app… but is now available on iPad too.
The v1.1 update now rolling out on the App Store adds a brand new design optimized for the larger iPad screen, with a navigation sidebar and now a media playback toolbar.
While all classical music tracks are also available in the standard Music app library, the dedicated Classical app offers design capabilities optimized for classical music lovers.
This includes richer metadata for recordings, such as detailed information about composers and conductors, fine-grained search capabilities and curated playlists and recommendations.

Customers can listen with high-quality streaming, up to 192 kHz Hi-Ress Lossless. A disadvantage of Classic is that it requires an always active internet connection. Songs cannot be downloaded for offline playback.
The current version 1.1 is the first major update for Apple Music Classical since its launch in May. All previous updates were minor bug fixes.
With the latest update, Apple Music Classical is now available on iPhone, iPad and Android platforms. The Classical app is a free extra that comes standard with your regular Apple Music subscription.
