Appdome partners with JetBrains TeamCity for a secure app delivery boost

Appdome has announced a new partnership with JetBrains TeamCity to advance the delivery of secure mobile applications under the Appdome Dev2Cyber Agility Partner Initiative.

By integrating Appdome’s Cyber Defense Automation Platform, an all-in-one solution for mobile app defense, with JetBrains TeamCity’s CI/CD cloud-based service, mobile development teams can now build, test, and deploy their automate applications.

The newly integrated platforms aim to boost the delivery of secure mobile apps worldwide by providing automated methods for implementing cyber defenses in Android and iOS applications. Traditional manual deployment processes were slow, complex and fragile. The integrated platform solution streamlines the implementation process and accelerates release times.

Appdome’s cyber defense automation platform brings substantial security measures to iOS and Android apps, including runtime application self-protection (RASP), code obfuscation, mobile data encryption, jailbreak detection, root detection, man-in-the-middle prevention attacks, and so on. -device anti-malware, anti-fraud, anti-cheat, anti-bot protection.

This partnership will enable technology platforms to automate the delivery of such cyber defense deployments in mobile apps, aligning with the speed and flexibility of modern DevOps pipelines.

The need for robust mobile app security is reflected in the results of Appdome’s recent Global Consumer Expectations of Mobile App Security survey, which found that 94% of global consumers would promote a brand if its mobile apps protected them from security, fraud and malware risks. . It is striking that 68% of respondents would leave brands that do not offer proactive protection.

Karen Hsu, SVP of Mobile DevOps and Security Solutions, further reiterated the integral role JetBrains TeamCity plays as a mobile app development platform. She underlined the importance for developers to quickly build security measures into their apps, directly from the platform. The integration with JetBrains TeamCity therefore enables mobile brands and their development teams to meet the growing security demands of mobile users.

Karen Hsu says, “JetBrains TeamCity is an important mobile app development platform, and developers using it should be able to quickly build security measures into their apps from within the platform.”
