How can I access a list created in one class from another class?

I have a small Java app that I’m developing but have run into a little snag. I have two classes. One of them is a JFrame and the second is the main class. The reason there are two classes is because I have a List to save the items that the user has pressed and another List to draw them on the JFrame. I have tried accessing the List data in the other class but haven’t had any luck. If anyone can help me with this it would be greatly appreciated.
