CalcAll is a standalone program that can be used to analyse and calculate all sorts of gage and workpiece tolerances. The program is easy to use and gives you complete control of every aspect of the calculation.
Gage and workpiece analyses are performed by CalcAll in a single step. The material name, temperature and instrument attached to the gage or workpiece, and any measurement tolerances that are present are entered through the standard dialogues, buttons and menu options.
CalcAll is built from the ‘Calculate Tolerance’ page in CalcAll->gages->Example->Tolerance Analysis, with all material names, temperatures and tolerances that are required to perform the analysis saved to disk in the CalcAll database, which is defined at the end of the program files. The gage to be analysed is selected through the standard dialogues and buttons.
Variables enter in the page through the standard dialogues, buttons and menus and are saved to disk, along with the complete gage and workpiece tolerance analysis, in a format which can be easily read by standard programs.
After entering the relevant data, a series of standard dialogues will appear, allowing you to choose whether you wish to use the three wire method, the contact arms method, T-sphere, Whitworth Taper or to input the material parameters for modelling thermal expansion for common materials (copper, aluminium, stainless steel, brass, iron etc.)
If the three wire method or contact arms method are selected, a blank gage wire and blank gage workpiece are automatically created. You can, if you want, enter alternative values in the blank wire and workpiece gage formulae, which will be used if the selected tolerance is not recorded.
