## On-Camera Lenses

On-camera lenses are less expensive than off-camera lenses but don’t perform as well as lenses with a built-in interlocking mechanism. Off-camera lenses are designed to allow the photographer to mechanically connect and disconnect them to the camera body. Most lenses don’t perform very well with mechanical connections and tend to bind, so that you need to buy a new lens if the current one becomes damaged.

Using an off-camera lens is far more complicated, so it’s best to buy only one lens at a time. With more than one lens, a photographer must invest in three more accessories: a lens adapter, a filter adapter, and a quick-release device, such as the Canon EF-S 14–24mm f/2.8 STM II lens or the Sigma EF-S 15–20mm f/2.8 EX DC HSM Lens. The adapter allows a lens to connect to the camera body, and the filter adapter allows a lens to be mounted onto a filter that the lens can’t mount.

Of course, many photographers wonder why they need an adapter at all. This may be a philosophical question for you, but it’s a practical reality for anyone who works with off-camera lenses.

# Specialized Equipment

* Remember that older lenses may not support your current camera body or newer lenses may not support the aperture or focus range of older cameras. Even lenses that look similar may not perform well.
* Older lenses may not have full autofocus speed and older cameras may not be compatible with some lenses.
* Some older lenses may not have a focus indicator or may have a focus indicator that’s different from your camera’s focus indicator.

* Older lenses may not have the same specifications as more modern lenses.
* Some lens manufacturers are adding the electronic date format to the data plate of lenses, so older lenses may not support this feature.

# Chapter 9: Lenses and Filters

On a camera body, the lenses have a finite number of focus points. There may be 10 focus points or 18 focus points on the focusing screen. These points are represented

Changes in sputum culture in the early phase of oral treatment for pulmonary tuberculosis.
A change in sputum culture is considered to be the most important factor for prediction of the effectiveness of the treatment of pulmonary tuberculosis (TB). The time when a negative sputum culture is obtained is called the culture conversion time, and the aim of this study was to determine the time when the culture conversion occurred and factors relating to the culture conversion time among patients treated with isoniazid (INH), rifampicin (RFP), streptomycin (SM), and INH + RFP. The patients (n = 106) included 78 males and 28 females, mean age 45.9 +/- 13.9 years (range 20-79 years), and 75 were new cases, 31 previously treated. Sputum cultures were examined at the beginning of treatment (T0), and at 3 and 6 months thereafter. At least one positive culture after T0 was obtained in 96 of 106 patients. The culture conversion time was 14.2 +/- 6.4 days (range 5-32 days) in 75 new cases and 23.3 +/- 6.4 days (range 12-44 days) in 31 previously treated cases. Multivariate analysis showed that INH + RFP treatment was the only variable influencing the culture conversion time.Q:

How can I include third-party rasters with the batch-processing option in ArcGIS Desktop?

Is there a way to include raster data in a batch-processing job?
I used to be able to run a batch-processing job and include files in the folder from which the batch-processing job ran. ArcMap recognizes them as supported data, and they are visible when the results are generated. In the screenshot below, the red arrow points to a.TIF file that I would like to include in the batch-processing job. But it does not show up.

A third-party.TIF file does show up in the screenshot below. The red arrow points to a.TIF file that is part of the data I’m processing.

I didn’t find anything in the help that would indicate that rasters could be included, but I might have missed it.

The raster data I’m using in this example can be found here.

The files are included on the desktop in a folder called “noah”, which I have already added to

Eduardo Bravo (footballer, born 1951)

Eduardo Bravo (born 23 February 1951) is a Spanish former footballer who played as a forward.

Club career
Bravo was born in San Fernando, Province of Cádiz. He started his professional career with Atlético Madrid in 1966, scoring eight goals in 26 La Liga games in his first season as the capital side were crowned champions, and also made his debut in the competition on 25 September, playing the entire 1–0 away win against Villarreal CF.

However, after no more appearances for the capital club, Bravo made his country of birth, as he represented Sevilla FC, making his debut in La Liga on 21 October 1976, a 1–2 loss at CA Osasuna. After one year he moved to France, joining RC Strasbourg.

One of the highlights of Bravo’s career came in the 1982–83 season, as he netted 15 goals in 23 games, including a brace in a 3–1 success at FC Girondins de Bordeaux on 17 October. His coach at Stade Lavallois was László Bölöni, and in December 1982 the pair of players was named ‘players of the year’ for that season.

Bravo’s career ended in 1985, after two years with Qatar SC. He retired with a total of 249 matches and 26 goals.

International career
Bravo made five appearances for the Spain national team, all as a substitute. The first came on 26 April 1976 in a friendly with Portugal, in which he came off the bench for the final ten minutes in a 1–1 draw at the San Mamés Stadium.

Personal life
Bravo’s father was a former professional footballer, and his brother Rubén also played in the top level of Spanish football.
